Au milieu des années 60, l'entreprise Wirgin est en faillite. Elle est reprise, en changeant son nom. Elle devient la société Edixa. En 1971, c'est la faillite définitive. Le nom Edixa subsiste, mais uniquement pour distribuer des appareils fabriqués au Japon. C'est ce qui est clairement dit sur la page du catalogue Grenier Natkin de 1974. La fabrication est effectuée par Cosina et on retrouve de nombreux traits du Cosina Hi-Lite.
